The MP550BF-MR is configured around a pneumatic motor assembly and interchangeable adapters. Different wrench and nose adapters can be selected to match the fastener diameter and installation configuration.
Specified no-load torque is 39.9 N·m, supporting repeatable fastener installation in demanding assembly work.
The pneumatic motor is specified at 450 RPM for efficient production use.
Wrench adapters and nose adapters can be selected for different fastener sizes and configurations.
The complete pneumatic assembly consists of the pneumatic motor assembly together with the appropriate wrench adapter and nose adapter. This modular arrangement allows the tool to be configured for multiple fastener diameters while maintaining a common powered platform.
The supplied manual lists multiple configurations spanning common aerospace fastener diameters from 5/32 in through 3/8 in.
The manual recommends clean, dry filtered air within the specified pressure range and regular lubrication of the pneumatic tool. Air pressure should not exceed 120 psi. The tool should be disconnected from the air supply when not in use, when changing accessories, or during maintenance.
